Steps to configure SBCGlobal email account on iPhone:
Unlock your iPhone and go to the “Settings”
Scroll down the menu and tap on “Mail”
Tap on “Accounts”
Tap again on “Add Accounts”
Choose “other” and select “Add Mail Account”
Type the name and description.

Reboot your device as this can do the wonder in most of the cases. Uninstall and Re-install the application on your device. Check the IMAP/ POP Configuration Settings in Android. Make sure your phone is connected to the network.
