Cannot add Gmail email account to Outlook 365

Is it possible to add a Gmail email account to Outlook 365? If yes, then please let me know how I can do the same? Please reply ASAP.

After setting up my Gmail account in Outlook 365 on my PC, for the life of me, I cannot get it to send any emails using the gmail account. They just go straight to the outbox and sit there. If I go to the email in the outbox and press send, the icon changes for a split second then nothing. It stays there.

Setup Gmail Account in Outlook
Open Outlook.
Click on File tab and click Add Account.
In the welcome prompt, input your Gmail email address, click on Advanced options, select Let me setup my account manually, and click Connect.

Before you connect to your Gmail account from Outlook on the web, or add a Gmail account to Outlook, you need to prepare your Gmail account. You need to turn on 2-step verification for Gmail and then create an app password that Office 365 will use with your Gmail address to make the connection.
